A Little Bit about Aperture

I came across the term 'aperture' while studying for the GRE vocab. It says: aperture - a small hole or opening. And then it rang a bell. I remembered something about aperture with my digital camera. So I did some investigating and learned all about aperture. I found this video that explains aperture pretty nicely...

Photonhead also gives a lot of information about aperture!

You know Jill, I did not learn about aperture and it's true meaning until I began working on my biggest publication, "The Florida Field Guide to Bird Lice", hopefully to be in press in the next couple of months. But anyway, I began photographing my bird lice collection with this amazing automontage system and findly gained valuable knowledge that aperture is extremely important in the photography world and does not to be taken lightly.
